I watched a lot of the GRAMMYS ALL CAPS ceremony on TV last night. Reluctantly. The woman women in my life were into it. I’m not too much into most awards ceremonies, and I rather took pride in neither knowing nor liking most of the musicians that came on last night. There were exceptions to my prideful disdain, of course. Wonderful exceptions. But as a rule of thumb, ya know.
Anyway, of the people I’d never heard nor heard of before last night, the one that jumped out at me was The Civil Wars. Not a fan of the name, but I liked their 60 seconds on the broadcast and I promptly spent 99¢ on iTunes. Check it:
